A Nigerian lady who traveled to Congo shared a video of an intriguing discovery. While exploring, she came across shops owned by Igbo traders, selling vehicle parts, and was struck by how much the area resembled the bustling Alaba Market in Lagos.

In her video posted on TikTok (@thattokelady), the shops featured familiar Igbo names like ‘Obinna,’ ‘Uche,’ and ‘Kelechi.’ She expressed admiration for the hardworking nature of the Igbo people, remarking that their business acumen and widespread presence across Africa should be studied.

The lady’s statement resonated with many online users, as she commented, “If you enter any country in the world and you don’t see an Igbo man, run. The Igbo mode of business and migration across Africa is something everyone should learn from.” Several commenters echoed her sentiments, praising the Igbo community for their business prowess.
