Abia-born Nurse Onochie Kingsley Kelechi Emerges Best Graduating Student in National Nursing Exams

Onochie Kingsley Kelechi, hailing from Umuibe Ohanze in Obingwa Local Government Area, Abia State, has been honored as the best graduating student in General Nursing during the most recent Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria examinations. He secured the highest results across all 36 states of the federation, a remarkable achievement in the field of nursing education.

The prestigious award was presented by the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, on behalf of the Forum of Nursing Institutions in Nigeria (FOHNIN). Kelechi completed his studies at the College of Nursing Sciences, Lafia, Nasarawa State, and his exceptional performance has been celebrated by both his alma mater and the larger healthcare community. This recognition highlights his dedication and academic excellence, serving as an inspiration to nursing students and healthcare professionals across Nigeria.
